We are selling our beautiful two-bedroom penthouse apartment at Sol Amadores. It is one of only five of its type in the resort and is ideally located away from the pool area, making it especially peaceful and quiet. Our family has been visiting Sol Amadores for many years, and the friendly staff now know us by name. One of our favourite pleasures is enjoying an early morning coffee in a quiet corner of the patio, looking down towards the sea. It is wonderfully peaceful. The spacious patio also has a large Jacuzzi hot tub, comfortable seating, a table and chairs for al fresco dining and sun loungers. It is very private from the neighbours. Inside, the apartment is bright, spacious and comfortably furnished. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and sliding doors opening onto the main terrace. The second bedroom has twin beds, with a separate shower room nearby. The spacious open-plan kitchen and sitting room includes a TV, sofa bed and further sliding doors to the terrace. The well-equipped kitchen also has a breakfast bar, and a smaller terrace sits beside the living area. The resort has a large heated pool. In October, there is never any need for an early morning dash to secure a sun lounger and, in fact, we have often had the whole pool area to ourselves! There is also a pleasant, licensed café, where owners receive a discount. Just down the road is Amadores Beach, a beautiful horseshoe-shaped bay. Along the beachfront, beneath the promenade, there is an excellent choice of restaurants to suit every palate. Ownership also includes free access to all five Holiday Club resorts in Gran Canaria, free gym access and sauna plus free parking and wifi. Places to visit nearby include Puerto de Mogan - a charming 'Little Venice' fishing port, Firgas - a quaint village in the hills with a waterfall running down a mosaic channel on it's main street and Playa Del Ingles - known for its sand dunes. There is also an Aqualand, an Angry Birds park and a Crocodile Park/zoo. We are selling only because our family has grown up and they are now exploring other parts of the world. We own several other weeks with Holiday Club, so we still look forward to returning ourselves.
