Set in Puerto Rico town in the sunniest and driest part of Gran Canaria, these charming beach apartments overlook a crescent-shaped beach with marinas at each end. With the beach just 100m away and spacious, cosy apartments, a holiday here saves money over rooms at a typical hotel.

Reviewers loved the apartments' location almost on the beach, the huge pool, indoor heated pool and the complex's Indian restaurant. Views from the large balconies were also praised, and the apartments themselves are spacious, well furnished, bright and clean.

Set in a quiet area of the resort, the one- or two-bedroom apartments have fully-equipped kitchens including microwave ovens and hobs, and the living areas are air-conditioned for summer and centrally heated in winter. Satellite TV is included, and the ensuite bathrooms are well-equipped.

The poolside snack bar serves nibbles and drinks in the summer season, and breakfast is served in the café, giving a good start to the day's sunbathing, swimming and exploring. A small on-complex supermarket provides everyday needs.

The purpose-built holiday resort of Puerto Rico comes complete with shops, restaurants, bars and enticing, laid-back nightlife. The beach is ideal for water sports, boating and fishing and, for traditional charm, the nearby fishing village of Arguineguin is a short drive away.
