I am selling one week at the fantastic Anfi Tauro resort (Emerald Club) in Gran Canaria; a floating week worth 10,500 points that can be exchanged through RCI for other resorts worldwide, or as we often like to do in our family, exchanged for one of the equally luxurious apartments at Anfi Del Mar, a short drive from Anfi Tauro. These apartments use less points per week and offer a beachside alternative to the mountainous views of Tauro.

Situated in the south of Gran Canaria - an island pretty much guaranteed to give you year-round sun, Tauro is a golfer's heaven in particular, boasting an 18-hole championship course as well as a 9-hole course and driving range right on site. But it isn't just for golfers - Anfi Tauro has fantastic facilities including 3 beautiful swimming pools, a restaurant, supermarket, and a free shuttle bus to enjoy the additional facilities at Anfi Del Mar.

Alongside the great facilities, there is on-site entertainment and activities every day, and the beautifully clean and high standard apartments feature a spacious balcony, and fully fitted kitchen including oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, with welcome pack on arrival as standard with a few tea bags, coffees, bottled water and milks to keep you going! There is a spacious lounge with sofa bed, flat screen TV, internet connection - in fact everything you could possibly need whilst on holiday!

This listing is for a 1 bedroom standard apartment that sleeps 4 (using the sofa bed) and it is a floating week which means it can be used any week that is available except for the last 2 weeks of the year (51 and 52). There is no set apartment, you call Anfi Vacation Club with your requested dates and they will let you know what is available on those dates. If you can't go one year you can roll your points over for the following year and use them all then.

From London, Gran Canaria is about a 4-hour flight - you can request an airport transfer through Anfi Vacation Club, which typically takes around 30-40 minutes, and there are local towns and beaches within taxi distance near the resort. Nearby Puerto Rico is great for a wide selection of very reasonably priced restaurants, bars/pubs and shops and there is a new super mall due to open very soon too!

Just along the coast from Puerto Rico, Mogan is a beautiful little town for a day out, especially on market days, you can catch a ferry from the Anfi Del Mar site or from Puerto Rico for a more scenic route. There are also theme parks, animal resorts, and the huge Maspalomas sand dune beach a short distance away by taxi or bus.

We have owned timeshare weeks at Anfi for 19 years since we were wowed by our first ever visit - we never go anywhere else! The only reason for the sale of one of my weeks is due to a bereavement in the family, I feel it is time to reduce to 2 weeks for the rest of the family to enjoy.

The thing we love about all of the Anfi resorts is that you know what you are getting - the high standard is always consistent, the resorts are spotlessly clean, the gardens are always beautifully maintained, the staff are helpful and polite, and we feel safe - the resorts are secure, using key card entry at every gate or entrance.
