We bought into Anfi in Gran Canaria around 10 years ago. It has held gold crown awards with RCI for years, and rightly so; we have always been impressed by the quality and cleanliness of the resort. Monte Anfi is one of the quietest of the Anfi resorts and boasts wonderful views from the balconies across the bay to Arguineguin. It's only a short walk and lift journey down to the commercial centre where there are plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, the marina and of course the beach, which boasts wonderful white sands. There's also a vacation club where you organise trips, a free gym to use, and a hairdresser. We have always organised transfers to and from the airport direct with Anfi which is competitive with taxi transfers.

We've always gone to Anfi in late July and the weather has been exceptional. Its location means that there's always a lovely cooling sea breeze when the temperature soars. We've always asked to have a unit that is high up when we book to capitalise on the views. There's a good number of lifts and stairs. Each unit is very large; the largest of any that we have exchanged with around the world. There's a well-equipped kitchen, huge bedroom with a jacuzzi bath, large bathroom and a shower, and televisions in the bedroom and living area. The room is serviced and cleaned nearly every day of the week and has always been spotless.

In terms of exchanges, we usually exchange and go somewhere else every other year. We've been to all the nearby islands, and several places in the USA, including Disney in Florida. The deposit and exchange system with Anfi are easy, as is the booking with RCI. The quality and reputation that Anfi has with RCI means that we've always had great exchange value in the terms of our trading points that we have, so much so that we've had to roll the excess over several times.
