Beautiful 7th floor 1-bedroom apartment in Puerto Anfi, Gran Canaria, which accommodates up to a maximum of 4 adults, children under 2 years do not count.

There are 4 lifts with one being an external lift to take in the wonderful views of the Atlantic coastline.

We are selling 2 consecutive fixed weeks (24 and 25) which are normally the last 2 weeks in June.

The accommodation consists of 1 very large bedroom with ample fitted wardrobes which house a chest of drawers and an easily lockable safe, bedside cabinets, TV, corner bath with built in seat and mixer taps. The bedroom has wall to wall sliding patio doors leading to the large private balcony and a lockable connecting door to the bathroom.

The separate bathroom has his and her sinks sunk into a large marble surface over fitted storage units, toilet, bidet and a walk-in shower. The area is fully tiled in marble with ample mirrors, hairdryer and fittings for robes and towels etc. The second door from the bathroom leads out to the open plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area.

The kitchen is fully fitted with integrated fridge freezer, microwave oven, electric hob, dishwasher, washing machine. There is an electric kettle, toaster, juicer, coffee maker and the units are filled with all the utensils, glasses, crockery required to cook and serve a full meal or just have a slice of toast, depending on your wishes. There is a separate cupboard area housing ironing board and iron. The open plan kitchen leads through to a dining area with table and chairs for four people. A low dresser offers extra storage space if required, telephone, CD player for those relaxing quiet nights in with a chilled glass of wine.

The lounge has a wall mounted TV, coffee table, standard lamp, single armchair and large easy glide pull out bed settee. The balcony can also be accessed through the wall to wall patio doors at the end of the lounge.

The balcony is a large private space with a table and chairs for four and two loungers to relax on and enjoy the amazing views. From this position you can look down onto what we believe is the best of the 13 pools on offer at Anfi. Look just beyond the pool to the attractive marina which is protected by a low stone built wall to separate it from the open seas just beyond. Move your vision to the left and the plaza comes into view with an excellent view of the entertainment stage, with Heart Island just behind it and the soft sand beach further to the left. The views are exceptional whichever way you choose to look and must be experienced to fully appreciate them.

The plaza has a great selection of restaurants offering a very wide variety of foods to tantalize all tastes or you can walk along the private strip to find more restaurants and an even bigger selection of national foods. Whilst you stroll towards these you are able to shop in the boutiques or just have a coffee or glass of your favourite beverage.
If you're a fitness guru and like to work out in a gym or prefer to experience exhilarating water sports or simply run in the open air sea breezes Anfi has it all. The one stop shop can help you organise trips to other attractions and shows off site or plan your onsite massages and treatments.

Should you find time to explore other parts of Gran Canaria there are helpful staff in the reception area who are always happy to offer guidance on where to go or how to get there. Anfi is well served by taxis, but a short 5-minute walk will bring you to the bus stop where all destinations on the island are open to you.

Anfi offers a shuttle service for the airport at a small charge. The journey to and from the airport is 40 minutes.

During our 11/12 year ownership we have had a wonderful time exploring the island, we have taken advantage of the glass bottom boat ride from Heart Island to Mogan on numerous occasions. As the boat nears Mogan its worth taking in the amazing entrance to its harbour, which we have always referred to as little Venice. There is a thriving weekly market here with stalls selling everything from clothing, footwear, hats and bags through to prezzies to take home or treats to eat. Whilst wandering through the very picturesque streets, you will see artists playing instruments dressed in costumes from bygone times or individuals in poses they manage to hold for hours in the wonderful hot sunshine. When you're all shopped out enjoy a drink or meal in one of Mogan's excellent restaurants or cafes, where the wide variety will have something to tantalise every taste. If shopping or eating is not your thing, then you just must experience the yellow submarine, it's amazing, but I'm not going to spoil it by saying anything more.

A bit closer to Anfi there is the Arguineguin weekly market which you can get to via taxi, boat or if your wanting to burn off a few of those newly gained calories, you can walk. Of course stopping off on route to sample the coastal bars, well you need to keep well hydrated. Arguineguin has a selection of shops selling everything you can imagine, if you enjoy cooking whilst on holiday there are large supermarkets and frozen food stores to compliment your fresh market produce.

Why not travel a bit further on one of the frequent local buses to the capital Las Palmas, to see the more historical side of Gran Canaria with its cathedrals and museums or to Mas Palomas with its beautiful sand dunes, where we are told Lawrence of Arabia was filmed. One of our favourite treats whilst at Anfi is take a taxi to the Hotel Gloria Palace in Amadores just past Puerto Rico and go to the Thalassa therapy pool where every muscle in your body will be massaged by the warm sea saltwater jets. Frankly I could write a book on the many wonderful experiences to be gained from ownership at Anfi, however part of the fun for us was finding things for ourselves.

We are now happy to sell and move on to new adventures, having sampled Anfi and Gran Canaria for many wonderful years. It will always hold a magical place in our hearts and hope that new owners will also fall in love with it in the same way as we did.
