We've loved our holidays at the Marriott Marbella Beach Resort on the Costa Del Sol and have made full use of all of the fantastic facilities here, 3 great pools, a really good gym, lovely apartments with everything you could want and loads of great restaurants just on your doorstep, there's nothing quite like having lunch in the sun with the Mediterranean sea just a few metres away.

The Marriott Marbella Beach Resort is situated in Elviria on the outskirts of Marbella on one of the most prestigious stretches of beach on the coast, about 30 minutes from the Malaga Airport and 15 minutes from the centre of Marbella and Puerto Banus. Malaga itself is a fascinating old city, the Cathedral, Old Moorish Fort and Picasso Museum are definitely worth a visit.

Ronda and Gibraltar are not far away and if you fancy a slightly longer drive, we've had great day trips to Jerez, Cadiz, Seville and up the lovely wild Atlantic coast. If you're feeling slightly more adventurous you can take a trip over the sea to Africa and visit Tangiers or Ceuta in a day...Or of course as we've generally done recently, just kick back and enjoy relaxing in this wonderful resort.

The resort facilities include 2 indoor pools, a large outdoor pool with plenty of loungers, a quieter smaller pool, indoor and outdoor whirlpools, saunas, steam-rooms, a fully equipped gym, loads of fitness classes, outdoor mini golf, outdoor giant chess, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, an outdoor football/basketball court, kids club, a great restaurant looking out over the sea, chill bar for daytime drinks or post pool cocktails, tapas bar, all day bar and casual food bar and a really well stocked shop.

The 2-bedroom apartments look out over the luxurious gardens and Mediterranean Sea, have 2 large rooms, one with a huge double bed, the other with 2 singles and a sofa bed in the spacious living room, Televisions in each room and one in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need to make everything from a snack to something very adventurous indeed. Air Conditioning. Washing machine and dryer. Large indoor dining table and another on the patio for relaxed lunches or warm evening dinner.
