Club Gran Anfi is an RCI Gold Crown resort at Anfi del Mar on the SW coast of Gran Canaria. It lies between the towns of Arguineguin and Puerto Rico and is a 30-minute drive from the airport.

There is a small marina at Anfi del Mar and a ferry boat service, which operates between Arguineguin and Puerto de Mogan (the other side of Puerto Rico), calls at the resort. There is a bus stop just outside the entrance to the resort for buses to Puerto de Mogan, the airport and the island's capital, Las Palmas. In addition, there are a car rental company and a taxi rank on site. There is a car park for which there is a small daily charge.

Weekly markets are held in Arguineguin (Tuesday) and Puerto de Mogan (Friday). There is a small Spar shop in Club Gran Anfi and a larger Spar in Anfi Plaza. These are convenient but if you are mostly self-catering you will find more choice and can save yourself some money by visiting the larger hypermarket or one of the supermarkets in Arguineguin.

Boat trips and excursions to various attractions on the island can be booked in and depart from the resort. The 18-hole championship golf course at Anfi Tauro is a 10-minute drive away. Anfi del Mar boasts a white sandy beach and tropical gardens. Various water sport activities are available on the beach and there is a diving centre in the marina area. Other facilities at Anfi include a wellness centre offering massage and beauty treatments, a shopping centre, pools (plenty of sun beds!), restaurants, medical clinic, kids mini club and daily activities for children and adults. There is a show every evening in Anfi plaza. More restaurants and bars can be found in Puerto Rico, Arguineguin and Patalavaca (a short walk out from Anfi).

We have been members at Anfi for 20 years, firstly in Club Monte Anfi and, since 2002, in Club Gran Anfi. Changes in our circumstances have led us to make the decision to sell our 2 super red season, floating weeks in a 1 bed floating suite (don't worry you're not actually floating on the water it just means that you're not always in the same suite!). Super red bookings can be made for weeks 1 - 42 and 45 - 50 with check-in days Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday, subject to availability, up to 12 months in advance. It is possible to request a preferred floor but there is no guarantee that your request can be met.

All suites have a sea view and a large balcony with power sockets, table and 4 chairs and 2 sun beds. There is lift access to all floors and easy access around the site for wheelchairs and pushchairs. 1 bed suites can accommodate 4 people. There's a king size bed in the bedroom and double bed size sofa bed in the living area. The bathroom has 2 basins, a shower, toilet, and bidet and can be accessed from both the bedroom and the living room so providing privacy. There is a jacuzzi corner bath in the bedroom. Other facilities in the suite include: air conditioning, a well equipped kitchen, fridge freezer, dish washer, washing machine, microwave, dining table and chairs for 4, cd player, t.v. and DVD player (a good selection of t.v. channels in several languages), WIFI, iron, safe, pool towels and bath robes, a kitchen welcome pack, complimentary shower gel, soap and shampoo. The suites are cleaned thoroughly 5 days in a week, but the bins are emptied daily. Bed linen and bathroom towels are changed mid-week.

The resort is well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
