This week is always in the UK school summer holiday, and within the Crown Resort's 'Super High Season'. This means that you can exchange it within the Crown Resorts system for any other week in the year, to stay here or at Club Calahonda, Club Riviera, Club Delta Mar, and Club Caronte. Also, if you choose to exchange your current year's week for a lower season week, there are '2 weeks for 1' deals. The week can be banked with Crown Resorts for up to two years. Crown Resorts are friendly, family-oriented resorts in the Costa Del Sol, owned and run by the members via an elected committee, rather than run by a management company for profit. The apartments are very well maintained. This is a floating unit, so when booking (which can be done online or by phoning the London office), you can request a pool view, or ground floor, etc. If staying for more than one week, ask for the same apartment so that you don't have to move mid-stay unless you want to. The Club Marbella apartments sleep six comfortably, have two bathrooms, a full kitchen with a full-size fridge, washing machine, oven, hob and microwave, a flat screen satellite tv with UK channels, a safe, and a balcony with table and chairs.

The restaurants, supermarket, shops, and beaches are within an easy 5-10-minute walk, but there are free shuttle buses which will take you to the beach, local shops, or to the sister resorts, where you can use their facilities. So, you don't need a car unless you want to go sight-seeing. There is a picturesque marina and lovely beach at Cabopino, with beach bars, wooden boardwalk and delightful views of the sea and mountains. It is an easy day trip to Granada, or Gibraltar to see the wild Barbary Apes and the fantastic views.

We have enjoyed many wonderful family holidays here and using the RCI exchange system to ski in Austria, scuba dive in Grand Cayman, and also to visit New Zealand, South Africa, Mexico, Florida, Las Vegas, Texas, Germany, Greece, Italy, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Grand Bahama, the Lake District, Devon, Cornwall, Jersey, the Scilly Isles, and to use a canal boat in Leicestershire. If the week is traded through the RCI system, it has a points value of 62,000, which will exchange for almost any Gold Crown resort worldwide.
