Jardin de Amadores is part of the Holiday Club Canarias in Gran Canaria, this quiet resort has recently been refurbished to a very high standard by the resort owners, it is about 2 miles from Puerto Rico and walkable distance along the seafront pathway in about 20-25 minutes. The 2-bed apartment (Week 38 is in the middle of September) is very spacious (can sleep 6 comfortably, if required) has 2 bathrooms, and the large balcony overlooks the pool on site and Amadores Beach roughly half a mile away, at which there are lots of excellent quality Restaurants, Bars and shops, and the long sandy man made beach is the best on the Island. If you don't have a car there are very regular local buses which will take you anywhere in Gran Canaria at a minimal cost, the bus stops all have destinations and timetable printed in English, plus plenty of reasonably priced taxis if not going too far. By car or taxi the airport is under 30 minutes away along a motorway. From Puerto Rico you can take trips by a variety of boats along the coast North to Mogan or down to Arginiguan, where there are lots of very interesting things to see and do. Also the night life in Puerto Rico is brilliant for the younger set who all seem to like lots of noise and flashing lights.

This resort is affiliated to RCI for exchange purposes and offers high quality exchanges all over the world if that is how you plan to use your timeshare as I have done for over 30 years, and their website offers super pictures and descriptions of all their resorts. I have owned two of their weeks at different resorts for over 5 years and had some memorable holidays both in Gran Canaria and other parts of the world by using the exchange system, but as I am now in my mid 70's I have decided to cut back on the time I spend on holidays abroad as the flying doesn't get any easier.
