The Cala Blanc resort is located in Gran Canaria ,a Spanish island in the South Atlantic ocean. The Canary islands are also called the Florida of Europe ,because of their ALL YEAR year round pleasant weather. They are also well served by conventional airlines and charter airlines from many airports in UK and the continent ,at reasonable prices.

The Cala Blanca resort is a medium sized resort with a very pleasant environment,friendly staff ,nice swimming pool and restaurant with often nightly entertainment and well equipped, airy,ocean facing apartments. Within a short drive there are nice villages and the capital Las Palmas ( where the airport is located) is very interesting( Christopher Columbus stopped here on his way to discovering the Americas) and has lots of duty free shops. This volcanic island has many interesting natural sites ( deserts , moonscapes , beaches ,fishing etc).

The resort is affiliated to the RCI exchange company which allows members to exchange their week at their resort with a week in thousands of places around the world. Cala Blanca is rated as Gold Crown and because the week is high season is highly rated at 35 points( top class) we have exchanged it with some of the best places in the world eg. Hawaii, S.Africa ,Swiss Alps etc. Or we have exchanged it for 2 weeks in other resorts eg in Turkey , Egypt ,We ,our children and grand children have have enjoyed CALA BLANCA for many years but we have also managed to see the world by exchanging it.
