Crown Resorts at Club Marbella is in the Calahonda area and is around 37km from Malaga Airport and 16km from Marbella. The beautiful hilltop village of Mijas is only 18km away, Gibraltar 95km and both well worth a visit. Club Marbella is part of five Crown Resorts, all within a short distance. An internal bus service operates between the Resorts, the local shops and the beach. On site facilities include 24 hour reception, indoor and outdoor heated pools, toddlers pool, hydro spa, wi-fi, American pool, squash court, fitness room, sauna, children's playground, mini club, Café Marbella, hair and beauty salon, mini golf, table tennis, evening entertainment and a mini market for basic provisions. There are also five golf courses within 5kms of the Resort. Very reasonably priced restaurants are within a short walk, or if you have a car, nearby Elviria or Cabopino marina have a good selection.



This is a Silver Crown Resort fixed week for the end of August, beginning of September with an exchange day of Friday. The apartment is floating, so you can request any apartment within the five Resorts or use your own. The resort offers the possibility to exchange the week within Crown Resorts via their One for One system. This is a two bedroom sleep six unit with a large living area, balcony, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, oven, hob and microwave. There is one double room, a twin room, a sofa bed in the lounge, one bathroom with shower over the bath, and en suite with shower. The unit is on two floors, with the bedrooms below the lounge which means the bedrooms do not suffer from overhead noise during the night. The unit has been refurbished to a very high standard with the bathrooms very up to date and spotlessly clean. Other facilities are flat screen satellite television with a good selection of the main English channels, CD/DVD player, air conditioning, in room safe and hair dryer . There is also plenty of free on site parking. I have more photographs if required. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly, all speaking very good English. The resorts itself is very family friendly.



The resort is affiliated to RCI which awards Club Marbella a high exchange value for this week. We own two weeks at this Resort but are finding that we now only need one week due to RCI awarding points for weeks. We now find we can get more than one exchange holiday for one week at Club Marbella if we pick the time correctly. We have in the past exchanged into Gold Crown resorts in Florida, Las Vegas, Gran Canaria, Madeira and UK using this deposit.



Crown Resorts are owned and run by the members for the members via an elected committee based in the UK. The committee have an AGM every year in the UK, this year (2014) it is in Bristol.
