The smallest of the Crown Resort timeshare apartment complexes, Club La Riviera offers just over 20 two-bedroom apartments set in a peaceful location on the Costa del Sol, just one kilometre from the beach and 40kms from Malaga. A good family destination, the resort has three swimming pools, one heated for cool days in the low season, the second unheated for summer use and the third a dedicated pool for young children. Timeshare owners here are welcome to use the facilities at the Delta Mar leisure centre from May through October, and the resort’s poolside café and bar is great for making friends.

Apartments here are well-furnished, sleep up to eight people and include necessities such as hairdryer, iron as well as the usual washing machine, dishwasher and entertainment options. Several of the timeshare apartments boast jacuzzis as well as en-suite bathrooms. For beach-lovers, a free minibus to and from the nearest beach is provided, and the resort is set within a short walk of several restaurants and tapas bars for a change from the on-site eateries. Nearby Riviera del Sol is a pretty, small town with shops, a supermarket and a charming park, while the popular resort town of Fuengirola sits just along the coast to the east.
