We originally bought 40,000 Infiniti Club Points in July 2007 and have been able to use these at both "Home Club" resorts (now MGM Muthu Group) and exchanged through RCI for a minimal fee to stay at other fabulous resorts around the world. Having points gave us the flexibility to visit new places around the world at any time of year and choosing any size of apartment within our points allowance. This means you can potentially fit in more holidays further afield, or perhaps less but longer holidays in busier seasons all during one year. We've had a whole mixture.

Below is a list of some of the resorts we've enjoyed staying at over the past 11 years, some Infiniti Home Resorts and some RCI exchange weeks: -

- Vera Player, Garrucha, Costa Almeria, Spain
- MGM Muthu Beach Resort, Chennai, India (2 weeks)
- Royal Park Albatross, Golf del Sur, Tenerife (self-catering or half-board)
- BlueBay Villas Doradas, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic (All-Inclusive)
- Scandinavian Village, Aviemore, Scotland
- Royal Goan Beach Club at Haathi Mahal, Cavelossim, Goa, India (now Karma Royal Haathi Mahal) (2 weeks and only 11,000 points per week used on this occasion)
- Oura View Beach Club, Albufeira, Portugal
- Club Praia de Oura, Albufeira, Portugal
- Grangefield Oasis, Nr. Malaga, Costa del Sol, Spain

We've always found the accommodation to be so well maintained and of a good clean standard and with such friendly staff too, we have returned more than once to some resorts.

The points run for each calendar year, but you can borrow unused points from a previous year or advance points from the next year if you want to splash out!

Maintenance fees are usually paid across the second half of the year before use i.e. the maintenance and membership fees for 2018 were paid across the last six months of 2017.

We expect the 2019 fees will have been paid by completion of this sale by ourselves as vendors and so any new owner should be free to start booking any available holiday that they choose!

The 40,000 Club Infiniti Points can be used to book any of the following: -
- Holiday at a Club Infiniti/MGM Muthu Group resort.
- Holiday at an RCI Points resort.
- Holiday at an RCI Weeks resort.
- Spend your Points on cruises or travel services with RCI Points Partners.
- Spend your Points on travel services with RCI Points Partners.
- Over 3,900 resorts in 90+ countries to choose from through RCI

We have decided to sell our points because in recent years, we've found ourselves taking more and more short-breaks and holidaying with our siblings who have had children (although not us!) and we have actually started holidaying more often with them and enjoying more and more time with them, but there are too many of us to be able to make use of the points that we have and we don't always want to be the organisers! We've therefore not managed to make the best use of our points in these years and thought it would be best to let somebody else enjoy them.

Hopefully these points will be useful perhaps to a couple or family looking to increase the number of points they have and therefore broaden their options or maybe for a couple looking to enjoy a couple of out of season holidays a year - which originally suited us, not having children.
