Matchroom Country Club is a beautiful and peaceful resort nearby Fungerola. It is a perfect place for families to stay, and also perfect for couples who loves to play golf and relax around the stunning pool area, with a nice pool bar and beautiful gardens. There is a children's pool, and a bigger adult pool. The area is fully enclosed, so you don't have to be afraid of the kids running out.

The resort has been awarded Gold Crown by RCI for several years.

The apartments are spacious and fully equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. 2-3-flatscreen TVs with DVD, washer, dishwasher etc. 3 bedrooms with a lot of storage, 2 bath, large living-room and a nice kitchen. You can easily accommodate 8 people.

You have a beautiful view from the apartment over the pool area, the sub tropical garden and the great Mijas golf course. It is actually pretty magic sitting on the balcony in the evening watching the sun go down behind the Mountains.

If you would like to take a day off from the sun, you have an inside pool, a gym, jacuzzi, hot tub, games room...

We all, especially the kids have loved staying at Matchroom, so we stayed there for about ten consecutive years.

When the kids got older we moved to Playa Real, this is a wonderful place sitauted on the beach. This place has everything for everyone. You can relax at the pool, a very nice area with sunbeds and a wonderful pool-bar with exellent food. There is a big lawn between the pool and the beach, so if you prefer to lay on the grass, you can. Our kids often do that when they want some privacy. You can go swimmimg in the ocean and walk right back to the resort area with several showers right on the inside to remove the salt and sand before you go back to lay on the sun-bed by the pool.

The apartments are big and fully equipped. With 3 bedrooms and bathrooms to every bedroom.
You can easily accommodate 8 people here.

There are 2 supermarkets just 2 minutes walk. There is a nice restaurant at the resort, and several very nice dining places along the beach. We love walking on the beach early evening watching the sun go down in the ocean, and know whichever one we pick, we will have a wonderful meal. Our favorites are Papillon, Beach House and Merendero Christina.

There are also a climbing park nearby, that is very popular for everyone in our family.

Marbella Beach is right beside Playa Real, and it is a pleasant peaceful resort, and fully enclosed. It is a Diamond resort, so the standard is impeccable. You can also exhange your week, and travel wherever you want in the world.

We have owned and used this for almost 15 years now, and we have had some great and memorable vacations. The kids are not kids anymore...so we will move on to new adventures and have new memorable experiences.
