Club La Costa

Club la Costa is one of the largest resort vacation clubs. They have a fantastic choice of resorts (more than twenty-two destinations worldwide), quality service, and plenty of choices for either a family vacation or a vacation with a group of friends. Since 2009 we have stayed at multiple destinations with our friends and children. These locations include Spain, and Tenerife, India, Israel, and the U.S.

Originally, we started out with a Gold Card Membership (1501 points). Afterwards, we purchased additional points (500+500 points) and received Platinum Card Membership. We have always chosen an apartment option, since it comes with a fully functioning and furnished kitchen. The kitchen includes a wonderful set of dishware, a stove, as well as a dishwasher and a washing machine. This in turn makes family vacations and looking after children much easier. All the apartment units have high level of comfort - separate bedrooms, bathrooms, washrooms, this way it is easy to have a restful vacation for a group of up to six people without getting in each other's way. For young kids, the Club provides children's beds and chairs.

We also took advantage of various great discounts through Club la Costa when booking our cruises and trips for the Caribbean Islands, the Mediterranean, and Central America. As members of the point system for the resorts, we booked our stays in Germany, India, and Israel through the international system RCI.

The stays at the resorts are absolutely wonderful, especially at the locations in Spain and on Tenerife. The grounds are kept very clean, there is a lot of greenery, and well-maintained pools. There are bars on the premises, as well as restaurants with discounts for members of the club. The resorts also feature sports facilities, and various activities and clubs for the children. As a member you also receive free parking for your car, and priority access to beachfront lodging. Through organized tours, we have had the opportunity to visit Gibraltar, Morocco, Portugal, and France. We also got a chance to do some sightseeing in Seville, Granada, and Sherry. Every night at the resorts, you have an opportunity to attend a concert, to see a show, go out dancing, or simply relax.
