Matchroom Country Club is just 3km away from the nearest large town (and beaches) of Fuengirola, with other resorts like Benalmadena and Torremolinos nearby. The popular resorts of Marbella & Puerto Banus are about 15 minute's drive away, although there is a regular bus service which you can catch from Fuengirola.

The apartment itself is Platinum Super Red which means you can take any week of the year. It comfortably sleeps 6, has two bedrooms, one being en-suite and one family bathroom, fully fitted kitchen, spacious lounge (with sofa bed), air conditioning with views over the pools and golf course.

Onsite there is a great heated outdoor pool overlooking the golf course, a heated children's pool, an indoor heated pool, gymnasium, sauna and 3 full sized snooker tables. It has been rumoured that famous snooker players have frequented here. There is a pool bar that is open in peak periods, and a bar where you can purchase snacks during the day. At night, the restaurant serves a variety of dishes that are reasonably priced and always good quality. There is entertainment on certain nights and a 'Happy Hour' every day.

Being a member with CHI (Club Heritage International) you have access to all their other resorts including their other properties in Spain (4) and the UK (diamond) resorts of Branston Hall in Lincolnshire and the Whitewater Hotel & Leisure club near lake Windermere. They also have affiliate resorts in Austria (2), Bali (2), Thailand (8), Goa (4), Hong Kong (2) and China. Matchroom is also a Gold Crown member of RCI, so you could, if you wanted to, exchange your week to a destination anywhere in the world. We have used this in the past and have had up to 4 weeks holiday in exchange for our 1 week deposited.

We have been with Matchroom for over 16 years and have had great holidays at the resort, along with the exchanges that we have done. The reason we are selling is that we have recently purchased our own property in Spain and so have no further use for it.
