We have been very satisfied with the quality of the Marriott locations - they have been of top quality. We used the points in various locations in Asia. For example, we did a tour of Asia with friends and invited them to stay with us in various Marriott hotels, including Marriott Courtyard in Hong Kong. Needless to say they were very grateful and impressed!

We have also used the points to take large extended family holidays in Phuket. For example, we rented 3 apartments over Christmas, each being able to sleep up to 6 people during one vacation. Each was a full service apartment with hotel style services - housekeeping visited and cleaned the apartment each day. We have three children and they invited in turn their partners and their partners' family. That vacation would have otherwise been extremely expensive if we did not have these points.

Other than expecting the standard that the Marriott brand name speaks for, there are various ways of using the points. Not only is there a wide range of locations throughout Asia and the Pacific, one can decide between city holidays in Marriott hotels or stay in Vacation Clubs. Our experience in summary was that of quality and flexibility. There are various ways of using the points and we never had any trouble in maximizing them to suit our vacation needs.
