I have had the timeshare since 1988 with Diamond Resorts International, though it was a different name at the time. Two weeks at Sunset Bay in Tenerife in August. I have used it every year with my family, relatives and neighbours. I got to know Tenerife very well, banana plantations, water extraction from pines, including boat rides to see dolphins and giant whales. After that time I was exchanging weeks with RCI, visiting Mexico, Italy, and other places. Eventually I converted my timeshare to points, 7000. This gives me 2 weeks availability for 4 people in some eight resorts in Great Britain. I have visited London and used ones in the south, east and north and also Scotland. Not forgetting Ireland, east and south Spain, Malaga, twice visiting Granada's famous Mosque in Cordoba. Diamond Resorts International have expanded the availability on the continent, France, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Romania, so there is no need to exchange. The USA- Hawaii and Canada have an enormous number of resorts still to exchange through RCI, not forgetting Australia and the Far East. The possibilities are endless with further expansion of Diamond Resorts, so much of the world to see and enjoy spectacular events. For myself, age and health is the problem otherwise I would not consider selling my points.
