It is with regret, due to the death of my husband, that I am selling my membership with Season’s Holidays. I own a red week in a 2 bedroom, sleeps 6 accommodation in any of the resorts. They have 8 resorts to choose from situated in Cornwall, the Lake District, Carmarthenshire in Wales, Ayrshire in Scotland, Kilkenny in Southern Ireland, Andalucia in Spain and on the Island of Lanzarote in the Canaries. Seasons is an English company that has grown into one of Europe's leading holiday ownership developers. Each resort has a choice of luxury self-catering accommodation in villas, cottages, and apartments. All accommodation is fully furnished with kitchen utensils, radio, TV, sheets and towels etc .  The resorts have indoor swimming pools, Gymnasiums and other leisure activities. There are restaurants and bars and entertainment is provided on several nights each week.

My red week gives access to any resort during high season or can be split into 3 green weeks to be taken in low season or 2 yellow weeks in mid season. In addition to these weeks there are also short breaks (mid - week or weekend) which can be taken in any of the resorts in the British Isles. My membership entitles me to as many short breaks as I wish. Short breaks are also available at the County Hotel in Bath and Seaham Hall Hotel in County Durham. Short breaks do not involve giving up any holiday week entitlements. In addition Winter Sunshine Bonus Breaks are offered for as little as £59 per unit at Forest Hills, Spain.

The choice is further extended;  through Seasons' connections with other resort developers, members have access to a further 70 affiliated destinations worldwide, including Australia, USA, Hawaii, India, the Far East, and the Caribbean. An administration fee, is required which is currently  £20 per week.

Ownership with Seasons Holidays gives members the option of joining Interval International which allows them to exchange their ownership week(s) with a choice of over 1,900 resorts in more than 75 countries worldwide. For a modest membership fee and an affordable exchange fee, you can holiday at a great variety of destinations. Interval also offer  ‘Getaways’ which allow additional weeks of resort holidays at  low prices. My membership is special in that I can split my red week into 3 green weeks but if I exchange one of these weeks in Interval it can be taken at any time. That is I could exchange all 3 weeks to be taken in High season.

The resorts are very different with interesting features on the sites and in the surrounding area. Perhaps Laugharne in Carmarthenshire is my favourite. The resort is situated in the small town with it’s castle and steeped in the life of Dylan Thomas. The surrounding area has many attractions; the beautiful coast leading to St David’s, many castles, the National Botanical gardens and many interesting towns and villages.
