The 5-star complex of Palm Oasis is located in the resort of Maspalomas, 2 miles away from the main resort of Playa Del Ingles, on the southern side of Gran Canaria.

Palm Oasis has 2 large swimming pools, a pool bar, tennis court, children's play area and gym.

The Unit sleeps 4 people and is a one bedroom, air conditioned, studio apartment, located on the first floor, accessible by lift or stairs.  Facilities include a television and fully fitted kitchen, with fridge-freezer, microwave and electric hob. The bathroom has twin washbasins, bath and shower with water jet nozzles for a really exhilarating shower.  Another redeeming feature of the accommodation is the West facing balcony, overlooking gardens and a waterfall, which enjoys afternoon and evening sunshine in an enclosed environment. Very relaxing after a full day out and about.

There is adequate parking both at ground level and underground for hire cars. The beach at Maspalomas is a 40 minute walk from the resort. There is also a regular free bus service to and from the beach for the less energetic.  In addition to local beaches at Maspalomas and Playa there is a regular bus service to the resorts of Puerto Rico and Mogan, a beautiful fishing village about 20 miles away.

There are several restaurants including a Chinese, within easy reach, if your dietary needs cannot be satisfied by the restaurant at the resort.

The area surrounding the resort is residential and so very quiet. In addition there is a small supermarket on site there are large supermarkets and shops within a 5 minute walk of the complex.

Other local attractions include a water park, shopping centre (Faro 2), fun fair and recreation park with a lake, all within easy reach.

The airport at Las Palmas is 21 miles away. The resort will provide transport in both directions or you can hire a car or get a taxi. There is also a regular bus service.

The Resort is affiliated to the exchange company Interval International with whom you can exchange your weeks for holidays around the world.  Our exchange locations include Spain, Portugal, Austria, Cyprus, Canada and USA in addition to 8 trips to our Timeshare in the last 11 years.  Our weeks are 5 & 6, which equates to the first two weeks, or the second and third weeks in February, the changeover day is Monday.

We purchased our Timeshare in 2002 and after 11 enjoyable years, feel it is time to move on, as we are approaching seventy years of age and would now like to cruise more.
