In the evening we really enjoy eating locally and then having a walk around the lively shops and bars on the "Strip". The Old Town is well worth a visit too and is about a 30-minute walk, or you can take the little train or a taxi ride. The Old Town comes alive in the evening with lots of lovely restaurants and market stalls, street entertainers and bars.

Albufeira is a great place for hiring a car and touring, there are lovely marinas close by to visit or if you prefer organised trips there are plenty available. Equally if you want to stay at the resort there are daily activities and a range of entertainment, including evening shows. The resort gardens are beautiful and kept immaculately, there are several pools, including some for young children to have a splash around, children's playground and lots of other amenities. The restaurants and bars on site are great and allow for a very relaxing holiday.
