Four Seasons is a superb, and very secure resort with the apartments overlooking the 3 pools which are set amongst beautifully kept gardens. There is also a heated indoor pool alongside a relaxing jacuzzi.

The apartments are very clean and comfortable, with 2 bathrooms, one being ensuite. There is a full kitchen, which includes 2 fridges, a microwave, dishwasher, and everything and more that you could possibly need.

Should you wish to do your own catering, a well-stocked supermarket is only a 5 minute's walk away. However, Four Seasons offer a variety of beautifully cooked food, and their famous theme nights are very popular and extremely good value. We particularly liked the Brazilian and Fish nights.

The bar/lounge area has recently had a makeover and is a very relaxing area to sit in and perhaps enjoy one of their daily cocktails.

If golf is one of your holiday activities, the Pinhal golf course is accessible direct from Four Seasons. There is golf professional onsite who can arrange everything from club hire to booking courses.

Should you wish to hire a car, there is ample parking both behind the apartments or in the underground car park. Having a car is good for exploring the Algarve region. We have hired a car many times and enjoyed many excursions along the coast. Portimao for shopping, Praia da Rocha and Praia da Luz have lovely beaches. For something a little different, the International Sand Sculpture Festival at Sand City in Lagos is well worth a visit. The sculptures are truly amazing!

As these are floating weeks (flex A) we usually chose June or September, and over the years we have had wonderful holidays at Four Seasons, with both family and friends. We shall miss our daily walk down to the marina (about 20 minutes) and stopping for a coffee before we make our way back for lunch. But it's now time to let someone else enjoy all the holiday pleasures that Four Seasons Vilamoura offers.
