The resort is located in Albufeira, on the southern Atlantic coast of Portugal and right on the water's edge. This a a floating week unit with availability from weeks 1-10 and 44-50. The actual dates vary according to the calendar but are generally from the first part of January to mid-March and from the first part of November to just before the Christmas holidays.

The studio unit is quite adequate for a couple and the kitchen is complete enough to prepare a meal. The good size fridge will hold all the wine and cheese you purchase. The unit you will have is assigned upon arrival. There is on-site parking. The view from the end of the property of the Atlantic ocean is great. The grounds are green with flowers and walkways to enjoy.

The closest airport is Faro and only a short drive away. When we visited, we flew into Lisbon, rented a car and drove the distance. What a lovely trip to see the Portuguese country side with all the cork trees and cute farms.

The resort itself has a pool, laundry facility, a great restaurant and friendly staff. Your week there will whiz by with all the things that there are to do in the area. There are bus excursions to the local markets, a sight-seeing trip along the coast and even to Fatima. We especially enjoyed a ceramic shop near the town of Loule and going to downtown Albufeira to have coffee and a roll with the locals. If you have transportation, it is a short drive to the Spanish border and areas on that side to explore.

There are currently three weeks banked that we have not been able to use. These weeks can be exchanged for other Muthu properties. RCI also lists the Clube Praia Da Oura so exchanges are possible. We are selling because it is unlikely we will visit there anytime soon. The annual fee is paid thru to the end of 2016.
