Clube Praia Da Oura is on the Algarve in Portugal situated between Faro which is where the airport is and is about a 20 minute to half hour taxi drive away and Albufeira which is about a 5 to 10 minute taxi drive away.

Albufeira is particularly nice, by day there is markets, shopping, restaurant and beach and at night the square is a great night out with bars and singing, much of it outdoors and different variety acts appearing in the square such as puppets dancing and talking with the kids and bands play while you are eating out and other side shows.

The resort is set in well maintained gardens that have an outdoor swimming pool with bar and food, a smaller kiddies pool with a bridge over it and an out door jacuzzi, an aviary with exotic birds which is by a lovely fountain and waterfall that takes you to the bowling green. The bowling green is good fun night or day because you are looking out at sea one way and the waterfall when you play the other way with a lounge type bar at the side with food and drinks.

The apartment overlooks the bowling green facing west and you get the sun on it about 10.30am, the sea is to the left and resort to the right, if you come out onto the patio which has 2 sunbeds and table and chairs with a parasol where you can eat if you want, there's a walkway and 50 years to the left you overlook the sea. The apartment has a lounge and part kitchen to the back with a bathroom an bedroom to the left with plenty of clothes space. The apartment is on the 5th floor with easy and clean access by lift or stairs and is available on fixed week 21 in and around the end of bank holiday weekend in May. The apartment comes with electric fans, telephone and car parking next to the resort and part kitchen cooking facilities There's nice restaurants on the seafront and plenty more nearby within walking distance.

We joined RCI exchange and had some nice exchanges in the Lake District, Tenerife, Malta with our apartment but we did like our time at Praia Da Oura and spent most of our holidays there where you also had the choice of using the sister hotel which was just a five minute walk about 300yards and had the use of the facilities there,

As you can tell, we have enjoyed our holidays there and trips to the market, the yachts at Vilamoura, the water-park and much more and the only reason for selling is because of my health.
