We own two consecutive fixed weeks in the same apartment at Four Seasons Vilamoura. T hey are weeks 25 and 26, which are roughly the last week in June and first week in July. The spacious, well equipped, two bedroom apartment, easily sleeping 6, is in the middle of three floors. It overlooks a picturesque golf course which borders the resort. We have spent many a relaxing hour on the balcony having a a cuppa sat at the table watching the occasional golfer go by, basking on the sun loungers or watching the beautiful sunsets while enjoying our evening meal.

Four Seasons Vilamoura is an RCI Gold Crown resort in the Algarve, Portugal. Vilamoura is a small town on the coast, boasting a wonderful marina, within half an hour of Faro airport. There are excellent picturesque beaches within easy reach of the resort, and plenty of sightseeing opportunities - such as visits to the west coast, the mountains around Monchique, Silves, Faro and Spain (we've visited Seville by car for the day for example). There are lots of great value restaurants in the area, some of which are within easy walking distance of the resort.

The resort is very well looked after. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Many of them have been there for years. There are three outdoor pools and one indoor, a kids play area, a gym and a good restaurant (with a useful take-away service). The apartments have air conditioning, Wi-Fi and the main British TV channels, amongst others, including Sky and BT sports. There is plenty of car parking space, some of which is in a cool underground car park.
