This is a large 2 bedroom apartment at the Clube Praia Da Oura, 1 mile from Albufeira on the Algarve in southern Portugal. The nearest airport is Faro some 15 miles away. There is ample car parking available if a car is hired. The timeshare is a fixed week 43 at the end of October. Check in day is Saturday and it coincides with the UK schools half term break. Temperatures at this time of year are in the mid 20 Celsius. The resort is affiliated to both RCI and II.

The apartment is on the 8th floor although due to the layout of the resort, the gardens and pool are on floor 3 and can be reached by lift and stairs. It has a large balcony (almost a patio) with sun loungers, table and chairs for eating al fresco and safe for children. It overlooks the large swimming pool and gardens and has a sea view. It has two large bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles with plenty of wardrobe and storage space. The large sofa in the lounge area converts to another double or two single beds. There are two bathrooms and a fully fitted kitchen with a large range of cooking pans and utensils. Satellite TV is also provided.

There are two swimming pools, set in beautiful gardens, a first class restaurant and pool bar and various forms of entertainment for both adults and children during the day and in the evenings. There is a sauna and a full sized bowling green and a supermarket on site. The resort is on the sea front so there are no roads to cross to reach the huge sandy beach where it is possible to hire sunbeds, pedalos, take speed boat rides and try parascending.

Locally there are numerous restaurants and bars, all within easy walking distance but far enough away to keep the resort quiet in the evenings. It is also possible to use the facilities in the nearby sister resorts - Oura View Beach Club and OuraPraia Hotel, both within a short walk. The nearest town is Albufeira which is within walking distance or 15 minutes on the tourist train. Alternatively, take the cliff top path. Numerous local excursions can be booked at the reception. Water slide parks, Zoomarine, local markets, Lisbon - the capital city etc. The resort is within easy reach of some of the best golf courses on the Algarve.
