The apartment is situated on the top floor of the block nearest the beach. There are lifts at each end of the block giving easy access to the beach & garden area and is close to the main reception. The apartment has a separate bathroom, the kitchen area is well fitted with a cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and all cooking utensils needed for self catering. The lounge is comfortable with TV and telephone. The main balcony (west facing) overlooks the bowling green and sun bathing deck with the beach to the left and gardens to the right. There is a small balcony area at the apartment entrance (east facing) with the beach to the right. The entrance balcony gets the morning sun while the main balcony gets the afternoon and early evening sun.

CPO is a large complex with 2 pools, children's play area, supermarket, self service launderette, sundecks and sauna. There is entertainment for both children & adults including a disco. There is Jac's restaurant, pool bar (also serving food), Amanda's bar and the Ocean bar (situated by the bowling green). There is a car park close by (payable). Sightseeing trips and excursions along with golfing days can be booked at the main reception. There is also WiFi available (payable) at reception. There are many golf course within easy reach of the complex.

CPO is approx 40 minutes drive from Faro airport.

A short walk from the complex is the modern area known as "The Strip" with numerous bars and restaurants, very popular with the young and old alike. The strip is quiet during the day and bursts into life at night. The old town of Albufeira is a shot distance away. CPO run a coach service to the old town during the day.Taxi's can be called from reception. There is a tourist train running from the strip to the old town every 20 minutes all day and into the early hours of the morning.

The old town boasts the area known as the "Fisherman's Beach". There are many bars and restaurants in and around the beach and town square, along many side streets. This area again burst into life at night, "Music Street" running from the beach area to the town square is packed with bars and live street music entertainment well into the night (a must visit area).
