Clube Praia da Oura (CPO) is a located on a beautiful sandy beach close to the town of Albufeira in the Algarve region of Portugal with excellent access to the main roads and motorways. There is plenty of free car parking on site and Faro Airport is approximately 45 minutes drive away.

CPO provides 2 swimming pools, very well maintained gardens, jacuzzi, sauna, bowling green, bars, restaurant, children's playground area, children's club, wi-fi access, on-site shop for groceries and other holiday essentials, and a self service launderette. The whole resort is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff, who all speak English, are very friendly and helpful. There is entertainment on most evenings and lots of organised activities in and around the pool during the daytime. Within a 10-15 minute walk there are lots more restaurants and cafes, both by the beach and in town.

Nearby there are more than 20 golf courses, 3 large water parks and the Algarve sea world Zoomarine. In Albufeira there are lots of open markets, shops, bars / restaurants and lively night-life. Other activities, such as sailing, surfing, tennis and jeep safaris are available locally.

This is a 2 bedroom apartment which accommodates 4 people very comfortably. The settees in the living room allow for a further 2 people to sleep there. There is a fully fitted kitchen and a balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. The balcony is provided with sun loungers for sunbathing in privacy, and a table and chairs for outdoor dining. The apartment is provided with a television (with Sky News and local channels) and fans in each room. The accommodation is located on the 4th floor and, although there are lifts provided, it is necessary to climb 1 set of stairs to reach the accommodation. It is, therefore, not particularly suitable for wheelchair users. There are porters available to help with luggage if needed.

This timeshare is for a fixed week (week 22 - end May/beginning June). In most years this week coincides with the late May bank holiday and school half term break. Check in and out are on Saturday. Whenever we have been there the weather has been perfect - clear blue skies and warm sunshine with temperatures around 23-27°C during the day. We have had rain on not more than 1 day during this week. It is possible to exchange this week for others during the year, either internally or other resorts via an exchange company such as RCI.

I am selling this timeshare as my children have now grown up and we therefore no longer need it. However, whenever we have gone to CPO we have always had a great time.
