The Oura Beach Club is a wonderful resort about 30 minute drive from Faro airport.  It is situated right on the Praia D'Oura beach with the most fabulous swimming pool and easy access to the beach.  It is about 5 minutes walk from the main "drag" where there are loads of places to eat and drink, this is very easily accessed  from the back entrance of the apartment block via the lift to the 6th floor.  The complex is very well maintained and clean and the staff are always most friendly, courteous and willing to help. The complex also has its own restaurant, bar and indoor Health club including a large swimming pool. Apartments can be accessed via a lift.  The management are continually updating the resort and apartments.

The one bedroom/one bathroom apartments are extremely spacious, sleep 4 adults easily with plenty of room in the main bedroom for cots. The large lounge area has two sofas that each convert to a bed and is large enough to incorporate a dining area with easy access to the kitchen area.  The spacious balcony goes right across the apartment and can be accessed from patio windows from both the bedroom and the lounge, balconies have a fabulous view of the deep blue, sun-kissed sea.

The apartments include everything you could possibly need to make your stay really enjoyable and a real "home from home".  Ironing board and iron, toaster, full oven/microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, clothes airer, television, air-conditioning.  The kitchen includes glasses, crockery, cutlery, bread board, tea towels (changed daily), bin, serving dishes, a full range of pots and pans.

The two separate apartments are identical and are available week 30 this is on the 4th floor and is available at the end of July/beginning of August).  A different, but identical apartment, on the 2nd floor is available week 52 (end of December).  Depending on the year, week 52 covers Christmas Day or New Year.  We've spent many a New Year's Day breakfasting on the balcony in the sun recovering from New Year's Eve festivities.

We've owned these weeks for about 18 years.  The family have all thoroughly enjoyed the weeks spent at this resort, and in this complex in particular; it really is a superior complex compared with others and you can also access the facilities, entertainment's etc of the "sister" complex next door at Praia D'Oura.
