Ponta Grande Resort" is located in Alfufeira, in the Algarve region, in Portugal.  Albufeira is not only a "Capital of tourism" in Portugal, but also an area full of History. There are lots of shops, bars and restaurants in Albufeira Old Town.

Albufeira is about 35 Km (22 miles) from Faro Airport.  To get to Albufeira from Faro by car there is the main road EN 125 or the A22 highway."Ponta Grande" resort is a 4 stars resort composed by air conditioned villas (sleeps 6) with views to Atlantic Ocean, nice gardens and pools. The villas are very spacious, with two bedrooms, two completed bathrooms, lots of living area, a well equipped kitchen a nice patio. Television by cable, free car parking, two pools and a children's pool.  There is a mini golf, a Giant Chest game, Tennis Court and a children's playing escape. The resort is quiet and well maintained. There is also a good restaurant and a nice bar in the resort. Laundry is available too.

There are wonderful beaches in the area, the nearest, S. Rafael beach is less than 10 minutes walking downhill the resort. Coelha Beach is not far either. Beach restaurants serve meals and snacks. There are good Golf camps, in the area, the nearest is "Salgados".
