The popular Pestana timeshare group offers rooms at this stunning property between Porches and the town of Armacao de Pêra of the Algarve. Its cliff top setting and lush, expansive grounds provide guests with amazing views and a beautiful environment to kick back for your chosen week.

Pestana Porches Praia is highly rated on Tripadvisor and similar sites for its views, service and proximity to Senhora da Rocha Beach. It is situated next to sister Viking complex, where timeshare owners can make use of the extensive facilities there.

Accommodation is in one and two bedroom apartments, which are large and well kitted out. One bedroom apartments alone can comfortably accommodate four people (such as a family with two kids), with a large lounge, separate kitchen and big bathroom. Two bedroom units have two bathrooms and ample space, while both types have a large balcony.

All timeshare units are air-conditioned and features views of the sea from their wide balcony or terrace. A satellite TV, phone, fireplace, sofa bed, mini bar, hair dryer, safe coffee maker and fridge are some of the mod cons.

A stunning salt water swimming pool sits up over the beach and sea, with a small children’s pool nearby. The Wellness Centre at the Viking next door also comes with a Jacuzzi, sauna and gym along with a kids club, plus there are extra swimming pools here for guest use.

Pestana Porches Praia has its own Italian restaurant, while the Viking also boasts a couple of restaurants and bars and there are several others within reach on foot. You can be down on Senhora da Rocha Beach sunning yourself in minutes and there is a free shuttle bus service to Armacao de Pera.

Also not far away is the Pestana Carvoeiro Golf Club, which offers discounts for timeshare owners at the Pestana. Porches itself has historic buildings and quaint cafés to check out, while Albufeira is easily reachable by car or taxi and is the main resort town in the area. There is a lot to do here and it has some of the best beaches in Portugal.

Along with the excellent shopping in the newer part of the town is a charming café culture and some interesting sightseeing in the Old Town. The main town of the Algarve, Faro, is farther on and is home to Faro International Airport, the main airport in southern Portugal. Pestana Porches Praia is a 30-minute taxi ride from here.
