This is a double apartment on the first floor, with a balcony overlooking the pool, facing south toward the huge sandy beach in the much sort after Oura Praia Hotel.  The hotel has its own tennis court gym and sauna situated five minutes from beach and ten to the bustling town of Albuferia. The town is in the middle of the Algarve region of southern Portugal with much to see between Cape Vincent in the west and the Spanish border in the east, Faro the provincial capital, with an international airport is forty minutes away.

We use the apartment as self catering but there is a superb restaurant in the hotel with bars allowing full board. This is a fixed week 38 in late September, when it is still sunny and warm but not too crowded. The unit is well equipped with  air con, kitchen and utensils, television, bathroom and maid service.  The hotel is affiliated to RCI and we are members,  having taken several cruises and holidays in other countries, but we return to Portugal every other year!
