The Monte Carvoeiro Clube is one of the most striking resorts on the Algarve in Portugal. Built and styled in the traditional Portuguese manner, each unit has been furnished to a high standard. Our apartment overlooks both the stone-flagged courtyard of the resort and the quaint village of Carvoeiro. A fully air-conditioned luxury apartment with lounge/dining room. Sleeps 6, in 2 bedrooms with twin beds plus lounge settee converts to a double bed. 2 bathrooms, the main one with hairdryer, bath, shower, double basin, and toilet, the second bathroom with shower, basin, and toilet. Fully fitted kitchen including cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher plus kettle, toaster and coffee maker and usual crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils. It has a private, secluded outdoor drying area. TV and free Wi-Fi are available in the apartment. There is a private sun lounging area on the front balcony with 2 loungers plus an outdoor table and 6 chairs. Pool towels are available free of charge from reception. Apartment towels and linen are regularly changed, and the apartment is cleaned twice a week.

The resort offers several excellent bars and restaurants and has a swimming pool with a dedicated and supervised children's pool. Music is played in the courtyard during peak season. The pool bar also offers drinks, light snacks and breakfasts. There is a small Spar supermarket on site. The local Intermarche, Dolce Pingo, Apolino supermarkets are no more than about 10 mins away by car/uber or taxi.

Week 30 always falls in the school summer holidays and consequently will have a high points value if converted to the points system.

The delightful town of Carvoeiro is only about 500 metres away, as are the wonderful sandy beaches and coves. You will also find many restaurants an easy walking distance away. There are many interesting places, easily accessible, as are other activities, close by in the resort. Tours and days out can be booked through reception.

Flights from the UK to Faro are readily available and frequent; the airport is about 40 minutes' drive away. Private transfers are available to book through the resort if required.

So why are we selling if it's that good? Well, we are both in our late sixties and early seventies and mobility is an issue. We look back with great fondness to the many happy holidays we and our family have had here and the friendships we have made along the way.
