We first went to The Crane on our honeymoon 17 years ago. We love the place. Over the years we have made friends with fellow owners, hotel guests and the team that work there. The same employees are there year after year, and it truly feels like a second home. We now take our daughter with us; she loves the place as much as we do. She enjoys the kids club and the pools, as well as meeting new people. Having the option to prepare meals in the full kitchen or go out is a nice blend. Having daily housekeeping and a small laundry room is perfect.

This penthouse has a great vibe to it. It feels sumptuous, with beautiful high ceilings, huge beds, a plunge pool, and a full-length balcony. It is close to The Crane Village centre, overlooking the cascading pools and the ocean, so it is in a really convenient position and gets a lovely breeze and spectacular views. We sometimes just sit on the balcony and people-watch.

The restaurants at The Crane are all good, and the variety works for us. We enjoy going out to Champers and The Lonestar for "special" lunches or dinners. We also usually hire a car and have a drive around the island, going to well-known and not-so-well-known beaches, beauty spots, and attractions.

So, if everything is so amazing, then why sell? We have more weeks than we can physically use now as we are tied to school holidays. We will still be there every year.
