South Beach HotelWeek 22 (Red), Studio sleeps 4 £3,500
Sellers Description*
I have been visiting this Hotel since 2004 having bought the Timeshare after getting married on the Island of Barbados.
It has been re-furbished twice since then the most recent being last year (2017).
The location couldn't be better - just across the road from the famous Accra Beach, the boardwalk and local vendors selling wonderful souvenirs.
There are plenty of places to eat, with Just Grillin' next door, Chilly Moos (ice cream to die for) and loads of local restaurants and fine dining - whatever takes your fancy.
The local buses are regular and very cheap. Hop on and go to Bridgetown, Holetown, or Speights town - or visit the wonderful Oistins fish fry on a Friday.
The people are friendly, the food is fabulous and the Rum - well there are so many to choose from, my favourite is Mountgay - take the factory tour - it's really worthwhile.
They drive on the same side of the road as the UK, so great news for those of us who find it difficult to keep to the correct side of the road in other countries. Don't both with a map - the island is not that big, so you can't really get lost, besides the maps are useless.
The timeshare is 1 week (week 22) and sleeps 4 (there is also a sofa bed that pulls out easily). It tends to be either the last week in May/1st week in June which is great because hurricane season starts in Mid-June!!
It is affiliated to RCI so if you are unable to occupy your particular week, then you can bank it and opt for either somewhere else or a different time - you get 2 years to use banked weeks.
The studio has a separate bathroom with walk in shower and a kitchenette which comprises of sink, microwave, hob, kettle, crockery, cutlery, pans etc. All the bedding is superb quality and changed regularly. The rooms are cleaned daily.
This Studio is located on the 3rd floor and can be accessed either by lift or stairs. All the balconies face towards the beach and pool and have a small table and chairs.
I am sad to be giving up this timeshare, however it was originally purchased with my husband when we got married in Barbados in 2004. We came every year until he sadly passed away in 2010. I have returned a few times with my family, but it's not the same for me. I will visit Barbados again, but not in the next few years.
