RESIDENCE AT THE CRANE, Barbados, Caribbean

A stunning 2-bedroom apartment located on the 4th floor, with ocean views and a plunge pool. It can also be used as separate but interconnecting apartments. The apartment sleeps up to 6 people and is very spacious and furnished to a high standard. There are two balconies - one with gorgeous ocean views, and the other overlooking the lush gardens. The plunge pool in the "tower", facing the ocean, is a perfect place to unwind at the end of the day, with a Gin and Tonic.

The two bedrooms are large, and both have king sized mahogany four poster beds. The master bedroom opens out onto the balcony and has the ocean views, while the studio unit has the garden views. There is a separate living area with a sofa, sofa-bed, and a dining area. Televisions (cable) are in both the living area and the bedrooms. There are 2 spacious bathrooms with Jacuzzi baths, double vanities, and ample closet space. There is also a guest bathroom with a toilet, vanity, and shower.

There is a fully equipped kitchen and a separate mini kitchen in the interconnecting unit. The apartment has air conditioning and fans, though with the sea breezes, it tends to stay cool. The apartments are serviced daily. Wi-Fi is free.

There is a choice of restaurants on site, including "Zen" (offering Japanese and Thai), "L'Azure" and an Italian restaurant. A more informal restaurant is the Carriage House. There is a Bar and Grill serving on the beach.

The grounds include a large pool complex for kids and a separate adult-only pool too. There is a kid's club available as well as a Fitness Centre and tennis courts. For a spot of indulgence, the Serenity Spa offers a variety of treatments. A golf course is a 15 minutes' drive. A small shopping village is in the resort and includes a small grocery store. A larger supermarket is a 7-minute drive away. Free car parking available. Grantley Adams Airport - 15 minutes.

The beach at The Crane is superb with the amazing white coral sand that the Caribbean is famous for. There is a lift to and from the beach, and complimentary umbrellas and beach towels are available. There is the Beach Bar and Grill for beverages and food.

The Crane Resort is located above the Crane Beach on the quieter South East part of the island and is close to the stunning Bottoms Bay. The beautiful area of Cattlewash and the Andromeda Botanic Gardens are 30 minutes away. The Friday night fish fry at Oistins is 20 minutes away, and it is about 35 minutes to Bridgetown.

Other fun things to do while in Barbados are sailing trips, island adventure safaris, submarine experience, Banks Brewery, surfing, kite surfing and horse riding.

At present the timeshare is a member of Crane Points, but it can be affiliated with RCI Points and the more exclusive Registry Collection.

Reason for selling- we are now living in Australia and it is just too far for us to go to on an annual basis. We love Barbados, having lived there for several years, but are just not able to visit the Crane Resort as often as we would like.
