The Crane in Barbados is one of the most beautiful resorts in the Caribbean with an award winning beach consisting of turquoise water and pink sand. It is located on the quiter south east corner of the island, just 15 minutes drive from the airport and only half an hour's drive from the capital Bridgetown. The resort is affiliated to RCI and is a Gold Crown resort.

Located within the resort are 5 restaurants and bars, including an award winning Japanese/Thai restaurant, a spa, gym, and numerous swimming pools. If you prefer the beach, then the resort has it's own beach or there are numerous other beaches within walking distance. There is a lift from the resort to the beach which has its own beach bar.

The apartment consists of an ocean view apartment and a separate lock-off apartment which can be occupied separately by friends or family and which has a lockable dividing door. The ocean view apartment has its own plunge pool which is ideal for cooling off with a cool drink in the evening. Each apartment has its own private balcony and kitchen, large double bedroom and bathroom. There is a third shower room bathroom in the main apartment. The floor area of the apartment is a huge 2,600 sq ft. Flat screen TVs are installed, together with washing machine and air conditioning (although a small additional charge is made for this). We never use A/C as there is a cooling offshore breeze.
