Bougainvillea Beach resort is in Christchurch Parish on the beautiful island of Barbados just 20 minutes from the airport. Barbados is an idyllic island with beautiful beaches, warm blue sea and a consistent climate. The west and south coasts have placid waters while the East coast has a stunning, rugged coastline dominated by surf and surfers. The whole island can be toured in a few days.

Bougainvillea is a small boutique resort situated on the South Coast. Its awards and positive reviews, both local and international, speak for themselves.

We have a 1 bedroom apartment, with a large living room and separated kitchen (extensively fitted out). The bathroom has a shower over the bath and twin basins with plenty of storage cupboards. The apartment is on the ground floor with a patio/veranda looking out over the beautifully maintained gardens, waterfalls and pools with a partial view of the sea.
This means you can enter or leave via the front door or by the externally lockable patio doors. It is fully air-conditioned. The spacious bedroom has a double bed and a further two adults can sleep on the sofa bed in the sitting room. The resort management keep the apartments in meticulous condition and regularly update the decor and furniture.

Bougainvillea is an RCI Gold Crown resort. The staff and management are very pleasant, efficient and conscientious and are always welcoming. Security is excellent. The resort has a choice of 3 pools,(one for adults only) two restaurants (one of which- 'Lanterns' - is right on the beach) and bars, including a pool bar.Wi-Fi is available free throughout the resort. There is a Spa, Gym, gift shop and beauty salon plus games areas and a play room for children. There is a Water sports Centre right on the beach. There are many other facilities including a self service laundry.

It is situated on a long and beautiful beach, uneroded and wide unlike many on the west coast. It is just a mile or so from the buzzing restaurants, clubs and bars of St Lawrence Gap- the largest nightlife area on the island. A 15 minute drive will take you into Bridgetown for any shopping, although there are quite a few closer shopping centres and the town of Oistins with its famous fish barbecue stalls is also just a short drive away.

This particular sale is for week 30 ( the last week of July) but we also have week 31 for sale (first week in August). It is therefore particularly convenient for use in the school Summer holidays. The membership on these weeks has 25 years still to run.

We absolutely love Bougainvillea and our family have used it for fabulous holidays for the last 15 years. We have been visiting Barbados for over 40 years but now that we have retired and our children have left school we prefer to visit the island in the winter, so we have purchased two weeks in the resort in December and wish to sell our summer timeshare.
