Set in a quieter part of the Miami-Fort Lauderdale conurbation, Wyndham Palm-Aire offers attractive timeshare accommodation in an elegant setting that is very much focused on recreation. With its spacious units and multitude of swimming pools and activities, it appeals to all ages and is good for a stay any time of year.

Wyndham Palm-Aire resides in that buzzing part of the Florida panhandle where everyone wants to be, a place of dazzling city beaches, glorious seas and a casual, relaxed vibe. Wyndham Extra Holidays have termed it a ‘tropical golf and spa resort’, and that it certainly is, for next door are several excellent courses.

Accommodation is high rise and all encompassing, with large studio suites and one- and two-bedroom condos that come with a hot tub. Units feature large balconies with views over the pool areas and gardens which are brimming with exotic palm trees. Inside is a separate living room with sofa bed and a full kitchen.

The large apartments are especially well finished and come with premium cable TV and all sorts of extras, such as dishwasher, cooker, DVD player, hairdryer and a king size bed and whirlpool tub. The resort boasts a trio of freeform swimming pools and a children's pool with waterslide, along with a spa and various other amenities.

There’s a restaurant, too, while the Tiki Bar at the main pool churns out snacks and drinks. In addition to this are the extra facilities of the Wyndham Royal Vista sister resort, which is close to Pompano Beach and is available for use of Wyndham Palm-Aire timeshare owners.

Wyndham Palm is a gated community and also has the Palm-Aire Country Club on site, where a round of golf can be booked with the concierge, while the Isle Casino is also close by. Pompano Beach itself is an easy drive via Atlantic Boulevard and comes minus the typical crowds you see on the beaches of Fort Lauderdale and especially those of Miami.

The white beach stretches for miles, while also nearby is the serene Intracoastal Waterway, with its yachts and tour boats. There is also excellent opportunity for shopping, dining and having fun. For Miami, it’s an easy 30-minute drive away along I-95, or, alternatively, you could head west into the Everglades National Park via I-75.

Even the famous Florida Keys are accessible by car from Wyndham Palm-Aire and Pompano Beach, with the drive along the bridges and coral cays of this fabulous region the highlight.
