The Voyager Beach Club is located on the appropriately named Treasure Island, Florida, as visitors will find many gems at this resort. To begin, there are always magnificent views over the Gulf of Mexico. It is recommended that you rent a top-level apartment for the best scenery, although every sunset each night is in itself a treasure.
Apartments and facilities at the Voyager have been highly regarded by past residents and are available as one- or two-bedroom apartments, recently refurbished, each with a full kitchen and a balcony. All units are decorated in the style of an old world ship’s cabin. There is an outdoor pool for guest usage, or you could rent a bike and explore the rest of the island. Around this part of the Florida coast are many relaxing spots by the beach.
Treasure Island has remained a popular vacation spot since the 1920s, and today hosts a lively bar and restaurant scene by day and night. The ever-great baseball player Babe Ruth took a beachfront home on the island to retire in, and if it was good enough for him then it is bound to please you. The complex is also walking distance to John’s Pass village, with its dining and shopping choices.
The closest city to Treasure Island is Tampa, about 40 minutes away. At Tampa there is an international airport and many other amenities. Or you can cut across the bay south, and discover many great beaches facing the Gulf of Mexico.
