From the hall you can access the bathroom with walk in shower, the bedroom and the open plan lounge/kitchen. The lounge is fitted with patio doors leading to a patio area.

The reception team at the resort are very friendly and always willing to help you with any issues. Beautifully presented resort and apartment, maintained to the highest standard. On site facilities include a launderette, resident's lounge and childrens play area.

It's just a couple of minutes walk to the lakeside piers. Here you can buy tickets for boat sailings and board local buses. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in Bowness and there is even a cinema. The resort is a great base for exploring the Lake District whether by car, bus or on foot.

When you enter Windermere, take a left turn on the A592 to Bowness. You will find Burnside towards your left on the lakeshore. If you plan to come by rail, just change for Windermere at Oxenholme and simply take a taxi from Windermere station.

The attractions at Burnside Park never seem to end. You can take enchanting tours of the Lake District and visit places like Aquarium of the Lakes, South Lakes Wild Animal Park, the Lakeside Haverthwaite Railway and a number of other places. There's also the Ruskin Museum, Kendal Leisure Centre and the Trotters World of Animals, and you simply cannot miss the Famous 1967 Chocolate House where you can indulge your sweet tooth and also take back chocolates for all occasions.
