There are one hundred lodges at the Craigendarroch estate, a hotel, and a country club to which lodge owners have access. This luxury detached Duplex Lodge sits at the western edge of the site with uninterrupted views towards the River Dee and surrounding hills.

Entrance to the lodge is via a small vestibule containing washing machine, tumble drier and drying cabinet. Off the entrance hall, there is a large cloaks cupboard, a fully equipped family shower room, and access to three double bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, with Jaccuzi bath and shower, fully tiled, and underfloor heating. Stairs lead to a large open plan fully furnished lounge, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Also on this floor there is a further fully equipped shower room and a sauna. In the lounge area one wall has built in cupboards which houses a pull down double bed. Thus the lodge can accommodate 8 guests. All linen and towels are supplied and the lodge is prepared prior to your visit

Leisure facilities at the country Club, include a swimming pool, sauna and steam room, a gym, squash court snooker hall, and table tennis.

The hotel has two main restaurants and outside sitting areas. Ballater village is a delight and the surrounding countryside provides many opportunities for exploration, outdoor pursuits and (in season) the nearby ski resort of Glenshee.
