After 30 happy years of timeshare ownership at Windjammer Landing, and with much sadness, it is finally time for us to pass it on to another family.

For sale are two prime early August weeks, 31 and 32, in Villa 606, with a lease running until end of 2087. This beautiful property occupies the top two floors of a 2-villa building, and faces directly onto the beach with views across the ocean to the capital, Castries, 3 miles away.

Villa 606 is one of the Ocean Point villas at Windjammer Landing, which are among the finest available in the Caribbean within a resort complex setting. These more recent contemporary-styled additions to the resort are spacious, well-appointed and perfectly located next to the beach. The spa, gym, and tennis courts are close by, and the main restaurant and pool complex are just a few minutes stroll along the beach

On the first floor of the villa you will find a contemporary and spacious open plan room which incorporates the lounge, dining and kitchen areas. Outside there is a large balcony overlooking the sea, from which the whole party can enjoy the sunset.

The kitchen is well equipped, with oven, hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, and dishwasher and the daily maid service ensures that it is always well stocked with tea towels, dishwasher tablets etc.

Also on this level are the guest cloakroom, the utility area with washing machine and separate tumble drier, and three large bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms.

The master bedroom features a king-sized bed with spectacular views out over the ocean. There is a thoughtfully-designed dressing area with wardrobes, dressing table, mirrors, and ample power sockets. This leads into a beautiful en-suite bathroom which has a free-standing bath, dual basins, and two separate showers.

Outside there is a private sea-facing balcony for when a little quiet time might be needed. The second bedroom is equally beautifully decorated. It has two queen-sized beds, en-suite bathroom, and its own sea-facing balcony.

The third bedroom faces onto the garden area and has two queen-sized beds and an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs is a gorgeous infinity plunge pool with fabulous views, alongside a sunbathing area with loungers. There is also a large, partly-covered dining area equipped with fridge and bar for al fresco meals, and a further sociable seating area perfect for after dinner drinks and games.

The property is very comfortable for 6 people, and can easily accommodate 8 by using the sofa bed in the lounge.

The Windjammer resort has a range of restaurants from casual to fine dining, with the option of room service. Timeshare owners get 20% discount on most offerings. All-inclusive packages are also available, for those who want the convenience these offer.

Other facilities include: • Spa offering a range of treatments. • Well-equipped gym. • Daily yoga and pilates classes. • Two tennis courts, free to use. • A kid's club providing supervised care and activities for younger guests • A range of water sports, most of which are free for timeshare owners. • A mini-mart selling basics including fresh bread, milk and fruit. • Shops selling beachwear and souvenirs. • A varied programme of evening entertainment.

Nearby Rodney Bay has a large yacht marina, two supermarkets, a range of shops, and several restaurants and clubs.

The island of St Lucia is one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean, with the spectacular Pitons, a World Heritage Site, being the crowning glory. There is also a volcano and hot spring where you can take a (very) warm bath covered in mud, before cooling off under a nearby waterfall.

For UK owners, BA provides daily direct flights to St Lucia from Gatwick. There are also direct flights from a number of US and Canadian cities, including New York, Miami, and Toronto.

Overall, the combination of spacious and luxurious villa-style accommodation with all the facilities of a quality resort complex is very hard to beat.

Certainly that seemed to be the opinion of the 'Real Housewives of Beverley Hills' who chose to stay in the Ocean Point villas during Season 14!
