This beautiful lodge is in an ideal situation looking onto the sixteenth green, and beyond, with great views of Loch Lomond.
The four bedrooms of this lodge are located on the ground floor, allowing the living space upstairs to take full advantage of the views. There are two queen size bedrooms, each en suite, from which the rear patio can be directly accessed and on which you can sit with a glass of wine and watch the golfers approach the sixteenth green opposite, lulled by the sound of the oystercatchers.
There are two further double bedrooms, configured as either twin or queen size beds and they share a bathroom with bath and walk in shower (additional bathroom on first floor).
The first floor comprises a lounge with abundant seating with a central TV unit dividing it from the dining table and fully fitted high end kitchen. There is also large adjacent utility room, with washer dryer and large fridge/freezer. Finally a large fourth bathroom, with walk in shower, completes the first floor accommodation.
The clubhouse, spa, water taxi jetty, are a minutes walk away.
Numerous activities that can be arranged e.g. seaplane ride over Loch Lomond, fishing, etc. or simply explore the local wildlife and walks yourself. Excellent places to eat locally including on site. For the golfers there are so many courses within reach you are simply spoilt for choice including many of the Open venues; St.Andrews, Troon, Turnberry, Muirfield and all the great courses of Fife and South West Scotland within easy reach. If historical sites are more your thing then there is plenty history nearby with visits to the Highlands (walking, whisky tasting or both); Glasgow and Edinburgh are within easy reach.
It is also a walkers paradise with so many hill walks and beautiful views along the way. Walk part of the West Highland Way. Anyone that enjoys the outdoors will love it here.
Staff are very friendly and helpful and always greet with a smile on their face. If you fancy going a mile down the road then the facilities of the Cameron House Hotel are at your disposal with free transportation between both. Special reduced rates are provided for golfers and there is also 20% off all food at both sites.
This is a fixed week that normally straddles the last week of June and beginning of July e.g. this year it was the 28th June to the 5th July. It is an ideal time to see this area at its best and the weather for us has generally been excellent, and normally is this time of year.
Car parking is easy; park directly outside your lodge.
Ideal for a family week, group of golfers or friends to meet and spend time together or simply for yourselves
