Our lodge is situated on the Cameron House Hotel site, on the shores of Loch Lomand in Scotland. The week is week 24, which is mid June, perfect for good weather. It has free access to all of Cameron House Hotel's facilities.

It is a two bedrooms, three bathrooms, sleeps six unit. It is accessed from the ground floor level at the rear. The two bedrooms, one double with ensuite bath and shower, and a twin bedroom (that can be converted to a double) with an ensuite shower room, are on the lower floor, with windows over the front of the property. The ground/upper floor contains the living room and open plan kitchen. It has full width sliding glass doors to the balcony, with views across the site, and across to Loch Lomand. It is wonderful to sit on that balcony and enjoy a morning beverage, laze the day away there enjoying the peace and quiet, or savour that nightcap at the end of wonderful day. The third shower bathroom is adjacent to the living room. That bathroom also contains the laundry facilities, including a washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen is a fully fitted luxury area with fridge, freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher and all the necessary cooking implements and serving equipment to cater for six people. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a double bed.

The lodge has allocated parking spaces for two cars, in a spacious car parking area for 6 cars. The delights of Cameron House hotel are just a short walk away, with access to the various restaurants, bars, health club, swimming pool, cinema etc. In the other direction, again a short walk away, is the marina with an on site restaurant/bar, should you prefer to sit and gaze across the Loch and the marina. Among the attractions offered by Cameron House are float plane trips and excursions across the loch in the hotel's own power boat. The lodge is in a perfect position for exploring a bit further afield, perhaps Glasgow (train from Balloch) or Edinburgh. Should you not wish to cook, there are many other restaurants just a short distance from the lodge, in Balloch, and the local taxi services are more than happy to come to your lodge to collect and return you. At the entrance to the Highlands of Scotland, exploring further north is easy via the main road network that passes near the site.

It goes without saying that Scotland is synonymous with golf. There is a 9 hole 'Wee Demon' course on the site, and a full 18 hole course is available at the Carrick Golf course (owned by Cameron House) just up the road, with free transport provided by Cameron House Services on a half hourly basis. There they have another delightful restaurant in the club house, to greet you at the end of you round of golf.
