Saxon 5 is on the second floor of a group of apartments and has amazing views over one of the golf courses. With no apartments above it makes for a peaceful stay. It has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and ensuite shower, and two further twin bedrooms, a bathroom with bath/shower, and a large sofa bed in the sitting room, sleeping 8 altogether. The kitchen is well equipped and has a dishwasher, and the dining and sitting areas are spacious. There are beautiful views from the balcony and a table and chairs allow outdoor lunches, even in the last week of April.

Ownership of Saxon 5 includes free use of two stunning and contrasting 18 hole golf courses - The Valley and The Hill - and a 3 hole practice/junior course and a leisure club which comprising:

The charming, historic county town of Norwich is home to the Barnham Broom Golf and Country Club, with its traditional style timeshare lodges offering spacious, cosy accommodation with views over the resort's two golf courses as well as the rich, green countryside.

Accommodating between four and eight guests in comfort, the pretty red-brick and timber lodges offer self-catering facilities, well-designed ensuites with toiletries provided, and stylish, refurbished rooms with huge beds and cosy sofas. Peace and quiet come as standard here, along with a list of facilities including a luxury spa.

Of course, golf is the focus of the club and its two championship courses, but health and fitness is high on the list as well. A fully-equipped gym, sauna and steam room, squash and tennis courts and an indoor swimming pool are provided, fully-qualified fitness instructors are on hand to advise and yoga, Pilates and other classes are held regularly.

Friendly, helpful staff, the Brasserie restaurant and the units themselves score highly on guest review sites, and the informal atmosphere of the resort helps with relaxation. For days out, Norwich's 900-year old Norman cathedral is a sight to behold, as is its medieval trading hall, and famed Walsingham, home to mysterious religious visions, is a comfortable drive away. A day on the Norfolk Broads via hiring a canal barge is a delight for eco-tourists.
