Welcome to Pine Lake Resort, your gateway to the Lake District and so much more, conveniently located just off junction 35 of the M6 and 1 mile north of the town of Carnforth.

The lodges on the resort are situated around the beautiful lake itself and with the advantage of floating time you never know which gorgeous view of the lake you will be waking up to. Your purchase will be in the white/mid season floating time, which means you can use it any time except peak holiday season in the summer. I tend to go in October when the colour of the leaves matches anything New England has to offer.

The lodges are very well appointed with an open plan living, cooking eating area; two large bedrooms, one with a double bed, which has a telly in it, and one with twin beds Both bedrooms have ample storage space. The kitchen has all the white goods you will need including a dishwasher and a washing machine, (and for the coffee fiends a filter coffee machine). And don't forget to bring DVDs with you if you fancy a film night in.

The Lodge at the Lake is your main hub for information and entertainment. It contains the restaurant, bar and an indoor play area. In the evening a variety of entertainment is available. The Resort also boasts a swimming pool, gym, tennis courts and crazy golf. Or if you fancy something more adventurous there are speed boat trips etc to be had on the lake.

Carnforth has a good selection of shops for you to stock up on your supplies including an Aldi, Tesco and Booth's.

Venturing further afield Windermere is a 35 minute drive away and from there is the scenic drive to Ambleside, Grasmere and Keswick along the A591. If you are feeling lazy and don't fancy driving the 555 bus stops at the resort and you can relax on a scenic 2 1/2 hour ride to Keswick going through villages you would probably never see if you drive.

For something different a few miles up the A6 is the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis, a charming, little zoo. And just outside Ulverston, a 1/2 hour drive away, is the most astonishing Buddhist temple.

Whatever your interest this white floating time week at Pine Lake Resort will be the perfect time and base to start building new memories.
