These two weeks have a 9-year lease, finishing at the end of 2032. It comprises of a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, twin beds, large wardrobe with a safe, dressing table plus two comfortable chairs with a small dining table and a flat screen TV. It has a good size bathroom with a large walk-in shower, and daily maid service is provided.

It is in a prime position with southerly views straight out to the uninterrupted sea from the breakfast balcony, which has another table, two chairs and a relaxing sun chair. It also has a large southerly and westerly 43sq metres private balcony with yet another table and two chairs plus two sun loungers.

The resort also has three restaurants onsite, a 24 hour reception as well as gym and spa facilities for your use. There is a delightful old 'Quinta' manor house as you enter the resort. It was once a home for the Pestana family and is now a stately clubhouse for the exclusive use of all resort guests where the weekly cocktail party and 'happy hours!' for 'owners' are held. The Quinta also has a bistro, well-stocked bar, games room, TV lounge, library and rooms to relax and socialise, with live music most evenings. Afternoon tea is also served on the balcony of the Quinta. There is a secure outdoor car park for resort guests.

The Pestana Palms is situated right on the ocean front, which allows access directly into the sea for swimming, snorkelling and diving, plus it has a large pool with ample sun beds and umbrellas. Beside the pool is a cafe/restaurant & bar which provides a poolside service.

There is a large supermarket across the road, plus it has numerous cafes and restaurants very close by. The Pestana Palms is one of the smaller, quieter resorts on the western outskirts of Funchal and is only a 20-minute walk into the town and marina. Madeira has a temperate climate all the year round.
