Barnsdale Hall ( Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa) is a fantastic resort perched on the edge of Rutland Water, with stunning views across the water.

Not only does this resort offer a superb holiday centre with access to all the onsite facilities, as well as a hub to visit the many local towns and countryside, it also provides all-year-round access to the owner to be able to use the onsite facilities, 52 weeks a year.

Having owned this timeshare for nearly 30 years, we have had great value from this resort. When the children were young, it was so helpful to have access to an indoor pool and the crazy golf course; apart from that, I used the gym several times a week, and the jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room have proved to be a great way to unwind.

We have also enjoyed free use of the tennis courts and a pitch and putt golf course. For the more adventurous, there are many nearby leisure pursuits at Rutland Water, although subject to charge, including cycling, climbing, sailing, and boat trips.

There is a very good restaurant and bar on-site, and all I all, it feels very much like a country club. It is always maintained, and the staff are very friendly.
