Located on Tenerife's southwestern coastline, 15 miles (25kms) from the island's Reina Sofia Airport, the Tropical Park Resort timeshare is backed by soaring Mount Teide and fronted by a fine beach with views of offshore islands and the sunrise. There's a choice of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, almost all of which have sea views from their stepped terraces. It's a quiet location which is perfect for a family holiday, with the timeshare resort offering two pools with lifeguards, a gym, a sauna and a Jacuzzi, and day and evening events and entertainment for kids and adults alike.

The timeshare apartments are spacious and comfortably furnished, and kept cool by ceiling fans. The on-site restaurant is convenient but there's also a good selection of eateries on the street running between the resort and the beachfront. For day-to-day needs, the timeshare resort offers a small supermarket with a deli and a bakery, and the buzzing night scene at Las Americas is half an hour's drive away. Nearby Costa Adeje was built for tourists, but the stunning volcanic scenery of the interior of the island is remote, other-worldly and well worth the drive.
